- Beat the butter and sugar together. Add the eggs and vanilla essence and beat well.
- Sift the dry ingredients and add, with milk and coconut, and mix well.
- Pour into a greased ovenproof dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F/180°C for about 45 minutes until golden brown. Serve with custard or cream.
